Reference: Lubec Home Invasion Additional Information that took place on 09/23/10.
Today, 09/24/10, Sheriff's Deputies arrested Walter Conlin, 38 of Lubec for Class A Robbery and Class A. Kidnapping.
Bail for Conlin was set at $100,000.00.
Also arrested was Jessica Ramsdell 36 of Lubec for Hindering Apprehension and Prosecution. Class B.
Bail for Ramsdell was set at $50,000.00
Both are being held at the Washington County Jail.
Deputies were assisted by Marine Patrol Officer Russell Wright.

Dylan Lord / Home Burglary Arrest
At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2010 the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a home invasion in the Lubec area. After extensive investigation Dylan Lord, 25, of Lubec was arrested and charged with Class A Robbery, Class A burglary and Class A, B & C thefts in association with this complaint. Lord is being held at the Washington County Jail in Machias and bail has been set at $100,000 cash.
The victim reported that two males entered his residence they tied him up and held him at gunpoint. During this time he was beaten by the two suspects. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of US currency and medications belonging to the victim. The victim was transported by Downeast Emergency Medical Services to the Down East Community Hospital in Machias where he is being treated for multiple serious injuries.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Maine State Police, Main Warden Service, Maine Marine Patrol and Downeast Emergency Medical Services. Investigation is continuing and further arrests are expected. If anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Moody Arrest

Brief summary of case & enforcement action:
Washington County Sheriff’s office and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency were working a joint investigation into the alleged Drug Trafficking activities of Shaun Moody of Roque Bluffs. Through the investigation a search warrant was obtained for the residence located @ 66 Duck Cove Road in Roque Bluffs. Deupties, Agents and Troopers executed the warrant and as a result the following items were seized 30 marijuana plants, 8 of which were in an indoor growing operation, 321 grams of processed marijuana and $12,788.00 in cash. Moody was arrested for aggravated trafficking and taken to the Washington County Jail. The matter remains under investigation.

Harrington Fatality
On 9-2-2010 at 2229 hours there was a single vehicle accident on Route 1 in Harrington near the intersection of East Main Street and Route 1. The driver of the vehicle, Tyler Turcotte age 17 of Jonesport, was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. The vehicle, a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo was totaled in the crash. Turcotte was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Sgt. Tim Tabbutt was assisted at the scene by Milbridge Police Department, Addison, Columbia, Columbia Falls, Harrington and Cherryfield Fire Departments along with the Pleasant River and Milbridge Ambulance.
